The TUS Alumni Office has successfully concluded its first Alumni Mentorship Pilot Programme, an initiative designed to connect experienced alumni with current students to support career development and professional growth.

Launched in Autumn 2025, the programme brought together alumni mentors and student mentees for a series of structured conversations focused on career guidance, professional insight, and industry perspectives. Participants met throughout the academic year to discuss career pathways, professional development, and the transition from university to the workplace.

Feedback from participants highlighted the value of these one-to-one conversations and the opportunity to learn directly from graduates who once studied at TUS.

Mentor Desshiken reflected on the impact of the programme:

I firmly believe this programme was effective in supporting anyone who participated in it, and I cannot champion it enough.”

Mentee Lucia described the experience as both motivating and valuable:

The mentorship programme has been such an expansive, inspiring, and insightful experience.”

The Alumni Office is now reviewing insights from the pilot to inform the development of future mentorship programmes, helping to strengthen connections between alumni and students while supporting career development across the TUS community.
